Fisher-Tropsch Liquid Fuels from Bio-Mass Reactor – Partnerships
In mid-2006, Catacel partnered with the Energy & Environmental Research Center (EERC) to devise and test a novel Fisher-Tropsch reactor that would produce liquid fuels from syngas delivered from EERC's scalable bio-gasification reactor. In early 2007, Catacel delivered a reactor to EERC that operated at the unusual pressure of 1 atm. EERC tested the reactor and reported favorable results at ACS in April 2008.
